A cidade de Bragança vai ter no próximo verão um novo espaço cultural, projectado pelo arquitecto Souto de Moura, com a história da cultura sefardita do Nordeste Transmontano, anunciou esta sexta-feira a autarquia local.

Last month, an international group of visa recipients and descendants of recipients joined members of the Sousa Mendes family in an exciting and emotional journey from Paris to Bordeaux to Lisbon, recreating the exodus of 1940.  The Sousa Mendes Foundation co-organized this "Journey on the Road to Freedom" in collaboration with the Comité national français en hommage à Aristides de Sousa Mendes (www.sousamendes.org) and the AJPN (www.ajpn.org).
